About

Drift Lab started as a group chat where four friends kept arguing about which games were actually fun on a commute versus which just looked good in trailers. At some point we figured we should write it down instead of losing the thread every week.

We're not tied to any studio or store. Nobody hands us a release calendar, so we pick what we're genuinely curious about — sometimes a big launch, sometimes a quiet little thing we found while browsing late at night.

Every review here comes from real play sessions, usually across two or three different phones so we can talk about performance honestly. We care a lot about the boring stuff other sites skip: touch controls, how settings are buried, whether a game cooks your device.

If a game isn't for us, we'll say so and explain why. You can disagree — that's half the fun of reading this kind of thing anyway.
